2011-2012 Stephen F. Austin State University percussion students

91直播 percussion students will present their annual holiday concert, "Percussion in the Pines," at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Cole Concert Hall. The program, which features the 91直播 Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band performing a collection of carols, popular tunes and contemporary holiday arrangements for percussion, will be a "fun and festive way to celebrate the end of the semester and the joyful holiday season," said Scott Harris, 91直播 associate professor of percussion and director of both ensembles. Audience members are encouraged to bring a new toy to the concert for the 91直播 Percussion Department and Phi Boota Roota percussion society's toy drive. All collected toys will be distributed to the less fortunate children of Nacogdoches. The concert is a joint presentation of the 91直播 College of Fine Arts and School of Music.
