    Stephen F. Austin State University is continuing its strong enrollment momentum, with summer 2026 headcount currently up 6% and semester credit hours increasing 7% compared to summer 2025. To apply for summer II and fall courses, visit sfasu.edu/apply.

    Stephen F. Austin State University’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter was named Outstanding Chapter at the collegiate FBLA National Leadership Conference June 6-8 in Las Vegas. Ty Powers, first-year economics major from Lufkin, also earned seventh place in the Foundations of Economics competition.     Isabel Jedmears

    Recent Stephen F. Austin State University marketing graduate Isabel Jedmears, of Little Elm, earned a Best of Category Silver Award from American Advertising Federation East Texas for her comprehensive AT&T marketing campaign. The project previously earned third place and a Judge’s Award during the 2025 AAF National Student Advertising Competition. Dr. Marlene Kahla, professor of management and marketing in 91Ö±²¥â€™s Nelson Rusche College of Business, was a faculty advisor for the project.
